It was somewhat cringeworthy on Saturday witnessing that collapse from a good position. We probably should have been way ahead by then - to professional fouls by Albion right on the edge of the box. But we didn't seem to have much bite in midfield and looked vulnerable to their attacks, especially with Stoney forced off. I think our midfield is too lightweight and I'd also suggest our forwards need to have a better strikerate with the chances we have

I just don't buy this automatic `sack the manager' routine. The team is not a machine that you press this button and somehow achieve better outcome. This has been a really disappointing campaign and the management team have to bear a lot of responsibility. But just changing the personnel won't achieve much IMHO. And there are positive signs in most games so it is partly about building better resilience and consistency

Yes you are right the team is not a machine but Lumsden signed most of these players and he is responsible for the tactics and therefore must bear the brunt of any criticism and for the position that we find ourselves.Had he been in business and produced results comparable to these he would have been out on his neck and whether you like or not that is exactly what we are or why are we selling shares.I will repeat my earlier post and that is please leave[ie Lumsden] before you make us no better than a junior team.Remember that he has been in charge since the departure of Moore and has hardly set the heather on fire since then.
