    Game at Palmerston this Saturday

Youth Cup Tie v Cumbernauld Colts

With the 1st team having no game on Saturday, why not come along to Palmerston and lend your support to the u20's squad as they face Cumbernauld Colts in the 4th round of the Little Big Shot Scottish FA Youth Cup. Kick off is at 1pm.

This competition is the equivalent of the senior Scottish Cup but strictly for u20's only with no overage players allowed. Queens have a fine record in it over the years, finishing runners up to Aberdeen in 1986 and again to Celtic in 2012. We are one of the few clubs to reach the final from outside the top division and only ourselves and Ayr United have done so twice. The 2012 side included Jim Atkinson, Scott Hooper, Pat Slattery and Gavin Reilly amongst others.

Queens advanced to the last six**** with an excellent and dramatic 2-1 3rd round victory over Edusport Academy who top the South of Scotland League. Aidan Smith and Richard Murray were the scorers. This matches last season's achievement when we reache
