Have we offered him a contract extension? By far our best player for the last three seasons, Paul Sheerin had the foresight to sign him and Mark Whatley on long term deals, both are letting their boots do the talking, and I like what I'm hearing. I'd have them both in to my office with contracts they couldn't refuse.

If we had got through last night I would have had Bobby Linn/Allan Fleming/Ricky Little/Craig Johnstone/Mark Whatley in today to sign new contracts with the money we would have made.
Now whatever money we have in the kitty I would push the boat out to get Bobby Linn signed up, if we lose him in January it will be a disaster.

If the board have any ambition for the club they would push the boat out to make sure Linn stays. If they had any ambition....
I fear they will simply let him walk away.

The problem facing the board is that the fermers might be prepared to cough up some cash to get Bobby in January but if he doesnt sign a new deal then they get him for free in the summer. Only the club will have an inkling of what Bobbys intentions are, we as supporters can only try to put our opinions on these boards and hope the club pay some attention to them. For the record I agree we should as said above "push the boat out" to get him to stay.
