    Southampton To Recall Loan Players.

It seems Southampton are set to recall two of their top prospects, from their season long loans, in the Championship.
England youth international 20 year old striker Sam Gallagher, currently at MK Dons as only played 5 games, the last game nearly 2 months ago.
Under 21 international Jack Stephens, the 21 year old midfielder & defender, currently at Middlesbrough, as started one full game in Boro's league cup win against Manchester United.
Southampton are not happy both players are not being given enough game time, so they have reassessed their spells at these clubs, with Southampton having already had contact with other clubs, willing to take on both players, with both players being fetched back & loaned to other clubs in January.
Could one or both of these players be on Neil Redfearns list of players coming in to the club in January.

Hope not if they can't get into the teams they're currently loaned to.
Personally I'd like us to look for a bit more experience.

There a difference between trying to get into middlesbrough team who are trying for promotion..then Rotherham who are facing relegation

Plus you have to remember these are young lads and geography can play a part.

Rawson was born in Nottingham, "owned" by Derby and plays in Rotherham so is highly unlikely to be homesick.

A southern lad though being shipped out to Rotherham or other "points north" is a different prospect.

Plus we should always remember the profile of the town, old, run down, high unemployment and a reputation for Pakistani groomers. Hardly attractive is it?
