    Home form

Great result yesterday with Dawson showing us what we've missed and Madden playing where he can do the most damage. Mirfin steadying the ship as usual at the back.

Time to turn our home form round. Eight goals in eleven home games is appalling. The Rochdale and Wigan games will show whether we have turned a corner.

Hopefully we can get players in the transfer window who don't throw possession away as cheaply as some of the present bunch. If we do then the season may still be salvaged.

    re: Home form

Well, another disappointing home performance. Plenty of excuses from Mark Robins about tired legs and Rochdale having extra rest following their cancelled game. I would be more inclined to accept this if it was a one off but our home form continues to be dreadful and but for a surprisingly good show from Luke Daniels it could have been another pasting.

This weeks winners of the 'I can't be bothered to pass to one of my own players awards' are Laird (again), King (again), Bishop and unusually Williams.

Dawson was well below his Donny performance but can be forgiven. Two games in three days really is an excuse for somebody out for such a long time.
