Full credit to Bolton there, they deserved it. A good match, but from a Rovers perspective Lambert has no idea how to play Rhodes, and typical that a nano second after subbing him, Bolt-on score the easiest goal they will get this season. Ben Marshall has dipped massively, way too many touches, who does he hink he is, Maradona?

Danners the pundits keep banging on about his [Rhodes] record but he can't score without a supply. Our final ball and quality of crossing was abysmal today.

He can't and the set up is wrong for it to happen. He's also most of the time, far too far from the 18 box box. Marshall was too slow in delivering, (or at least think about it) and Conway the same. Oh well, beaten by bottom of the table Bolton, nowt new there. Bolton played well, road their luck and got the points, that's football.

No doubt Bolton deserved it,they had 3 penalties denied,we had 2.

Sometimes games are difficult against teams fighting for survival but at least 4 defenders switched off for the Bolton goal...other than that does anyone know what Guthrie does?? Thought Lambert had a poor game as manager, cos whilst substituting Rhodes did little if we went behind(which we did)he is tailor-made for goalmouth scrambles which we created towards the end. I think seeing the back of Rhodes was a massive filip for the Bolton defenders....take him off if we are trying to hold onto a lead not when we still need to score?? The players still dont look fully fit, especially considering Middlesborough game postponed....just my thoughts.

Maybe PL noticed Wheater at the back for Bolton was so dominant that at one point, out of boredom, a couple of us counted 11 consecutive headers and interceptions he’d won cleanly and decisively in a ten-minute segment of the game against our powder-puff front men.
