I'll take a bit off like that every day of the week. I thought the defence were outstanding and the keeps handling immaculate. Dont know where they got their man of the matches from. Scott McDonald for me utterly outstanding his first touch and link up play were immaculate , Id even accept a shout for Young Hall in the defence. Thoroughly professional.

Accies haven't really bothered me over the years but I dearly love to give them a right doing and keep them in freefall. They have been, as Alex Ferguson would say, become "noisy neighbours" Time their wings were clipped.

A good performance tonight although it wasn't our best. The result was of huge importance and helps us move off 10th spot. A real team effort tonight but Ripley, Hall, Pearson and MacDonald really caught the eye. No doubt the enforced departures of Davidson and O'Halloran influenced the game but we would have taken something from it anyway. Bring on the Accies!
