    Word is

Rumour has it Nicky Law is on his way back to Fir Park and Ainsworth is on his way to S*bleep*horpe .So it seems McGhee thinks the fans won't want Law back so what is the feeling out there towards NL ?

Any Motherwell fan who wouldnt want Law back is nuts. He didnt leave us in any controversial fashion he left for a better deal. He never bad mouthed the club. The fact that it was to Rangers should be utterly irrelevant however Im sure there will be some with the petted lip if this comes off. If Law ends up anywhere near as good as he was for us last time round Id be quite delighted to see him back.I hope Ainsworth is going to Scuunthorpe rather than a swap with Rangers as we may get some money for him.

Happy to see Law come back. Let's hope he adapts quickly to higher league football after his spell in the lower divisions which probably won't have improved him as a player.

As for Ainsworth it's a thanks for your contribution and every success at your new club. If we get a few quid for him that would be surprising but nice.

If rumour is true Pearson,Law,Lasley and Grimshaw or Johnson certainly would have a bit of quality about it ????

I hope the word is correct. I have said on here before that Nicky Law is the kind of player we have been needing in midfield. He can take a pass, move forward, he can make a pass and he has the ability to shoot from outside the box. If he is available I would take him. If Ainsworth is leaving, good luck to him. On his game, he's good, but is inconsistent. Marvin is better and Dom Thomas has the potential to develop further.

I would take law back any time. He was an excellent player for us first time around and if he can get anywhere near that kind of form that can only benefit our team. If it's true Ainsworth is off good luck to him. He's been a decent player for us.

Hmmm … In April 2015 he was £500k target English Championship so what’s happened to him becoming a rumour returning Fir Park ? A mother’s wish to see her sons playing together ? Brotherly love ?
However, delighted we’re considering players from lower leagues

Agreed not happening it's rumour mill and is akin to Tam's granny heard it from Joe' uncle who heard it from a reliable source. Would be nice but no chance unless Rangers willing to underwrite his wages and they wont cause they're still broke!

There might not be a drop. His contracts up in the Summer with Rangers , if Warburton has decided hes not in his future plans we may get him for 6 months where we pay what we can Rangers pay the difference and Rangers still reduce their wage bill. If we sign Law it would be very easy for 6 months.
