    Race.

    The Jesse Owens story.
Enough in this guy's life to make an uplifting and inspirational film. Must have taken some doing to have it turn out so "meh".

Even worse, pre movie they showed the trailer for the upcoming Independence Day sequel. Or was it for a new Transformers film? Hard to tell the difference by the looks of the trailer. Sadly, that looks shiite as well.

    Eddie The Eagle

Watched it on the plane last night. Decent feel good, easy to watch time filler. Enjoyed it, raised a few laughs too.

I knew the basics of ETE but his story is quite remarkable

13 Hours... The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

Bit of a Blackhawk Down feel about it but not as good. Still enjoyed it though a solid 7/10

I compare all those fillums to black hawk down and they generally come up way short. This was decent but had a few real huh moments in it.

Hungover, sh*tty weather, perfect day for lying on the sofa with a few films.

X-Men Apocalypse - crap, franchise has been milked dry then milked again.

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot - Tina Fey playing the journalist travelling to Afghanistan to escape her dull life in New York. the lovely Margot Robbie also stars. A good comedy/war film for a Sunday only spoiled by Tim from the Office appearing with a celtic scarf and a sh*t weegie accent. WTF? indeed. 6/10

    House of Wax (1953)

Good film, carrying on the old school horror. Good old Vincent Price
