Zach Clough Rejects Transfer To Bristol City....

Bristol City's pursuit of Zach Clough has come to an end, after the Bolton forward rejected a move to Ashton Gate in order to remain with Wanderers.

Clough was pulled out of the Trotters squad ahead of Saturday's FA Cup third round tie at Eastleigh after the club accepted an offer of around £2million, rising to £3million, for the 20-year-old.

He returned to the side for Tuesday's trip to Sheffield Wednesday and made a late appearance from the substitutes' bench, with manager Neil Lennon revealing a minor hip injury had prevented him from earning back a starting place.

I wonder where he will end up, playing for another Championship club or will a Premier League club snap him up?

JC I don't see that there's any chance Clough stays with us. The club accepted Bristol City's paltry offer remember; I assume Clough turned them down because they're not doing much better than we are!
