HEAVY winter conditions overnight has affected the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium pitch ahead of tomorrow's SPFL clash against Queen of the South.
The surface is very hard in places, and we will be assessing if laying of covers will have any effect later this afternoon.
We have asked the SPFL for an early morning inspection tomorrow to determin if the game can go ahead.
"We had to give the pitch time to dry out before we attempted to put covers down", explained Chairman Alan Jardine.
