It was bloody nectar.

Just as well it came in a bottle and I could read how strong it was, if it had been on draught I might still be there.

Im away to Donington in a cople of weeks and you get Pints of Hobgoblin there these days. Much better than a Tuborg or a Carlsberg. Whatever it is these days

King Goblins a good drop. Ive gone full circle on the funcy beers tho and just drink staropramen (5%abv) in the house at the moment. Hands down best beer out there for me. £10 for a box (12 x 33cl) just now in asda. Bargain. Ice cold nectar.

The Toronto branch of the family bought me a supply of Boneshaker and a skull pint glass from which to scoof it.

Helluva brew that I discovered when I reconnoitred Ontario's beer in 2016, and which I will test again on my return in September. With a bit of luck, the superb Communist's Daughter boozer will have it on tap this time around. I will die happy and they can bury me there and try to get a refund for the return part of my airfare.
