I never knew he was born with a stump for an ear and is deaf at that side.

Book started well anyway, not what I expected to read

This has been pretty good so far. Its the second version which was in fact the authors original which had the full details of it all. He was advised to edit it before original release due to relations with Japan after the war.

This has started off decent. Its the memoirs of a Wermacht soldier who went to fight in Russia. Its pretty graphic. He was killed while writing them and someone found them
