Why on earth did you start that? I got halfway through The Three Musketeers before I realised it wasn't about dugs and stopped immediately.

He well got his revenge on the boys that stitched him up. His bird had moved on though

Good read. Laughed when I read that Hibs used to enter the famous five into 5 a side tournaments at highland games around Scotland and his favourite was Meldrum Sports.

With the strippers shut down there isn't so much to do in Benidorm so been sitting outside the campervan reading. I took 'Citadel' by Jordan Wylie with me. He was an ex army dude who found himself in the horn of Africa as security for merchant ships who were at risk of piracy. Arrrgh.

Loved it and soon finished it so took a walk up to the market and bought 'Storming the Falklands' by Tony Banks. Getting in to the first chapter telling us all about his child hood being brought up in Dundee when he drops this clanger:

'Then came 1968 and an event that changed my life. It had nothing to do with student rebellions or riots. I became a Celtic supporter. This was a momentous but largely random decision. My choice had nothing to with them being an Irish and Catholic side. I simply saw that they were top of the league when I looked in the newspaper and thought, that'll do me. I've supported them ever since.'

Simon Kuper is one of my favourite fitba writers so this should be good
