The league is far too tight to say who or who wont go down but today's results certainly makes it more likely we are in the dog fight scramble at seasons end. It would be nice if our games in hand would to take us further away from the fight but they could well be catch up games unless we can stop gifting points to teams that dont need to try too hard.

In our most recent games against the top four we've got two wins, a draw and a defeat - out of I home and three aways. That's OK, and none of the remaining teams is miles better than us. That's what the league table says. On any given day we can beat them, as they could beat us. This time last week Killie had 'saved their manager's job'. This week? It looks as though that's how this season is going to develop. All to play for.

Having just watched Dundee United v Kilmarnock on Alba tv.I am more than ever convinced that if we can't beat these two teams then we don't deserve to stay in the league.United scored five goals but they had a great deal of luck with one or two of them and utter p**h defending by killie for the rest. Both teams lost goals from crosses to the near post for forward to run onto to head into he net neither team had defender on the front post. Both teams content to play high balls up the park for forwards to run onto.United did get players into the box in numbers for cross balls and cut backs. They may have used a great deal of their luck in just one game.Still don't believe they are a better team than us man for man,but the do work for each other.

I don't think we will go down, we have enough about us to stay up, I think anyway. We need 2 midfielders, on loan at least but a long term solution is needed. That's 2 season now that our mid area has been neglected, we struggle to screen/cover defence and crest chances going forward. I liked the big guy Jackson Irvine for RC a player like that is what we need.
We have a heavy run of games, and need to rally, which I think we will. But need to tighten up. 8 goals in 2 games is scary. Sometimes we need to sit in and hit on counter, even at home. We have no plan B. Too open, lose a goal, chase game and leaves us even more open. Keep it tight and go a bit more direct, it may not be pretty but who gives a fk if it gets us out the mire. RC have played like that for 2 seasons now....
