    FA cup at Shrewsbury

Now then Fowls, its FA cup time again next week and your off to the old Gay Meadow (or whatever its called these days!). We won 0-3 there in the League last Satdy, but Ive noticed their results and they did win away at Cardiff in the last cup round, and they won away at the League leaders Burton today.

What are your early thoughts then, do you look at this as winnable tie straight away, or in a replay at home, or is it a right banana skin for you etc.. ?

Tough tie that I hope we will scrape through. We'll put in some fringe players and I doubt that some of the foreign lads will have played at grounds like that with a team who will be up for it from the off. If we get an early goal we "may" coast home but I doubt it

Was most nervous about injuries to main players vis a heavy pitch, but looking at their last home league game v Barnsley...pitch looked decent
Shrewsbury team didn't look great? - but we all know better than that, don't we - view external link

Good win for yar lot last neet Acido...Not far off the play offs now..Doing really well.
Keep it up...And keep them horrible snorters out..It could end up being an all south Yorkshire play off final though with you and the Pigs...If that happens you know for a fact you're promoted without a ball being kicked..They don't do play off finals yer know..

That brings back awful memories of our 2000 play off final loss to Ipswich, at the old wembley
But yes Johnson is sort of getting our support again now and 5 league wins in a row has shot us up to mid table. We're even above Donny now!
