    Sunderland 'till I Die

Anyone watched this on Netflix. Its actually really good. To see Martin Bain stressed out is f@cking great

They obviously didn't envisage what was about to unfold over the season when the a started filming. Absolute stroke of luck and clearly made this a much better watch. Even if you cant sand guffball this is worth a watch

I might take a trip down to the Stadium of Light and laugh at Bain in person.

McInnes f@cking dodged a bullet. As a fan in a pub said "Graysons only f@cking manager as no other f@cker wanted to be the f@cking manager"

Started watching Arrested Development last week and already onto Season 3.

The first episode had me debating whether to continue but glad I did, the cast is great with the added bonus of other celebs making fleeting appearances in varied storylines.

Watched a couple of decent documentaries today.

First was about the mad cow disease crisis of the 90's. Seems they have found similarities between the human version of the disease and a disease that decimated a cannibalistic tribe in Papa New Guinea. They discovered that some of the infected over there had incubated the disease for up to 40 years, meaning that after they ate the infected flesh of their dead they never showed any symptoms until 40 years after.

Now they reckon it could be the same for people who ate contaminated beef during the BSE scare. So in theory, in the next few years it is possible that people with a certain genetic make up start to suffer from symptoms of CJD. Scary stuff really if you ate meat in the 90's.

Second thing I watched was about that Princess from Dubai who tried to escape the country. Her sister had escaped to England a decade or so ago but was found, kidnapped and returned home. Now this Princess Latifa planned to do the same. She got in touch with a French dude who was ex Naval intelligence. He had escaped from Dubai years ago by way of sailing in a yacht to India.

It was planned meticulously over a period of months and when the time finally came she managed to get away from her minders and boarded this guys yacht in Oman and set sail for India.

Now one thing that bothered me... This guy was an ex spy, a security specialist who knew that communications had been monitored for years yet he never thought to tell her to get rid of her smartphone. Of course she was making calls and posting online and the Dubai authorities tracked her movement and convinced the Indian navy/coastguard to intercept. She was passed back to her minders and no one has heard from her since.

Why on earth would he not tell her to get rid of her phone? Strange.

I though Gomorrah would struggle without Ciro (RIP) but it didn't. Excellent as always.

I don't know how realistic their nicknames are though. Nice'n'Easy? Shagger is better.

Ive been watching Spartacus over the last couple of trips here. Finished it last night

Enjoyed it. A lot of brutality in it which is never a bad thing. The fight scenes are quality at times. A bit like 300

Found it weird the way they started to speak in a sort of old English in the final series when they didn't in the prior couple

And extra added bonus was Saxa. I would never get sick of watching her malkying romans while half dressed

I recently discovered that the TV bought during the World Cup last year has all sorts of digital trickery built-in, so watched Summer of Rockets on BBC iPlayer.

6 episodes of Cold War spy vs spy paranoia and social climbing/class differences.

And Lucy Sacofski (as Hanna Petruhkin) could make an affa sotter of a loon with a suitably-hard stroop.
