It was reported that LvG offered his resignation after the game on the weekend, but it was rejected by the Man Utd board.
It's being reported that he has offered to resign. Would be interesting if both teams had temporary managers in on Friday night.

When did Mel say that? at the beginnig of this season?
Since the start of the season.
A clever man is our Mel. Not daft enough to sack a manager a month after going top, just because they have a poor run.
Ramondo you keep missing the point no one, me included, are not upset because we've lost a couple of games or that we have not taken many points for a few weeks. It's the perfomances thoughout the season that bother most. Not once this season have I come away from the ground thinking that was good, he's cracked it. Even worse I can't see it getting much better. For the sake of my beloved Rams I truthfully hope I'm wrong.
Bang on! As this is a LVG thread, last season man u fans were happy with the last euro spot (4th) but not the performances. However, this season the performances remain bad AND the league position is beginning to reflect those performances. So, should man u have been more concerned at performances rather than league position. By keeping LVG have they given him the benefit of the doubt leaving themselves with the inevitable speculation over his future, out of the euro cup and likely to miss out next year as well. Maybe a parallel with us??
Not the deadly vote of confidence........probably means hes gone next week. Bring back king billy oops!Originally Posted by wristslasher_909
