    A quiet weekend in Preston

    So after the embarrassment of losing to Peterborough, probably the only game I would like Preston to win other than perhaps one against scumchester, what will the 7500 loyal crowd be doing on a wet weekend in January.

    Thor no doubt has his eye on the new sheep that were delivered to Barnacre last week;
    ORB will hone his IT skills and check his hyperlinks.
    Gards will be polishing his boots again.

    As for the ground - I thought Carlisle were in residence again on Sunday to entertain Everton, now that would have been a sickener, surely, having some 'big boys' on the manor. However I have just read their ground has been resurrected and they are on for 250,000 pound pay day. So well done to them, particularly their ground staff, and Eddie Stobbart for helping that happen. Just think you could have been going to play West Brom and earning a few quid.

    Meanwhile the mighty Leeds have to again soil their boots on a ground West of the Pennines and play Bolton surely a win, hard

    We've got more Lancashire opposition to look forward to this week, Fleetwood away and Bury at home.

    LOL - all the enders fans were watching today's results praying for Leeds to have lost - had they then there would have been some more replies on here. Good result 2 -1 unless you lose - oh who mentioned Burnley :-) sneaky 2 -1 for Bfud as well I thought they had drawn.

    Not to fussed CB whether Leeds win or lose in the cup tbh except when you play lower leagues then its a laugh as you usually struggle against um. Anyway looking forward to welcoming the Udders this Saturday in what should be quite a good atmosphere as hopefully they will bring a few.
