    January transfer window closed

So with the window having closed, it looks like we've kept hold of our "best" players for now. I'm talking about Mavies, Vela, Clough etc, because they were linked with moves away.

Good thing or bad thing? Good because at least they provide some apparent quality to the squad (the table suggests otherwise of course). Bad because the club really needed to sell them for financial reasons.

Thoughts? Should we be happy about this?

I suppose that keeping our best players is a good thing but the League table suggests our best is not good enough!

Yeah but we only have a sprinkling of good players. Possibly add Wheater, Amos and maybe Pratley to those three and that's about it. Lennon was in no position to strengthen in the summer so we have what we have. Will it be good enough to stabilise in Div 1, who knows? I suspect not if Clough etc leave. Lean times ahead I'm afraid.
Now forget about all this doom and gloom and back to the predictions!!
