    Dens Park

Looks like we are going to be hurt severely by the decision at the weekend It could go down to the
wire and got a feeling the 2 points lost will cost us dearly Should be allowed to challenge refs decisions
if so blatant as that ****s on sat He now looks forward to another pay cheque while we spend rest of season
    looking behind our shoulders

Of course those two dropped points at Dundee last night could very well end up costing us, just like the two we dropped against Accies late on an the three we dropped at Firhill last night.

However as bad as the decision for Saturday's penalty was, we need to look at ourselves and not the officials to find the reason we dropped points. In all of those three matches, the common denominator has been us conceding at the death after a shocking performance in the latter stages of the game where we invite the opposition onto us as we defend a single goal lead/0-0 draw on the edge of our own penalty box when our defence couldn't keep pigs out of a close. If you do that then you are asking for trouble and we have been deservedly punished for it. In the case of the Dundee game, they may very well have equalised regardless of the penalty award, such was our inept defending. Indeed, had it not been for Ripley they would have won it at the death.

Blame a refereeing error all you like, but t

Not rocket science how to change our so called bad luck just get our lazy eleven on the park to defend further up the field or here's a novel idea go and try to score a late goal up the opposition end, does anyone think this idea might catch on ?

Exactly we have shipped 2 pts to Hearts at FP, 2 pts to Accies at FP , 2pts to Dundee at Dens and 3 points to Thistle at Firhill all lost in the last couple of mins. That's not bad luck that's 9 points that would virtually have seen us safe all wasted in the last couple of mins in each game due to complete and utter incompetence of players on the park. Let's stop the hard luck stories we are sh1te and getting the rewards our incompetence deserves.

    Hear, Hear.

There is a reason why teams down the bottom supposedly 'get no luck' and that reason is that good or even competent teams 'make their own luck'. In other words they don't desperately try to close out matches still in the balance by hanging on for dear life defending on their own 18 yard line, they shut down the opposition, pick them off and kill games off at the other end. And guess what? Sometimes that even results in them getting a dodgy penalty thanks to a refereeing mistake!

Got to agree with all the above. We need to stop defending to deep, especially the last 5 minutes of games. That way we don't run the risk of teams scoring with a deflected shot in the last minute or giving the Referee a decision to make. We should be the side pushing for the deflected shot or giving the Referee a decision to make up the other side of the pitch. Maybe if we can manage that we may not be so "unlucky".

The worst teams in any league are at the bottom . We are not unlucky we are pi $h. A team full of old men and duds. Where exactly are we getting a win from ? Downward spiral which will lead to relegation and we deserve it. No vision no hope.
