    Bolton 2-1 Rotherham...

Kaiyne Woolery scored his first senior goal, helping lift Bolton move off the bottom of the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Rotherham United.

Woolery struck in the second minute of stoppage time at the end of the game, as Neil Lennon's side moved off the foot of the table for the first time since November 21 - when they were beaten 2-1 at Reading.

Jay Spearing had given Wanderers a lead inside two minutes at Macron Stadium, volleying home from the edge of the box after Mark Davies had done well to keep the ball in play, before Chris Burke pulled the Millers level shortly before the break.

Bolton were wasteful in possession and operated without a recognised centre-forward following Emile Heskey's departure to injury, but Woolery was introduced for the final nine minutes and took full advantage of the opportunity, as the Trotters move above Charlton Athletic after their defeat at home to fellow strugglers Bristol City.

Bolton Wanderers: Amos, Vela, Dervite, Holding, Moxe

Brilliant win we didn't make it easy for ourselves but that's normal for us maybe get a point away at Brighton but that's going to be very tricky they are picking up a bit of form again. Why did he start heskey?

Really chuffed to see us off the bottom of the table for a change - albeit on goal difference.

Not getting carried away though of course; there's a long slog ahead and that's just on the pitch!
