    Good to meet you too. Forgot to say to you today that I update the Queen of the South season pages on Wikipedia and like my footy stats.

    Here are some questions.....Who were Queens first league opponents, where did they reside from, what was the scoreline and who scored Queens goals?

    What league are you on about - Western or Third Division - if the latter Queens beat Dykehead 2 - 0 in August 1923
    attendance 4,000, scorers Archie Muir and Walter Campbell - Dykehead came from the Shotts area of Lanarkshire. Sorry
    Russell not a fan of Wickepedia - the real stats are here in Dumfries with Blacko, George Crosbie, Andy Penn etc.

    I was referring to the 1923-24 season in the Third Division, so the Dykehead match....
