    El-Bakhtaoui?

Scott Burns suggests that we are about to talk to Faissal El-Bakhtaoui about a pre-contract. He Dunfermline's top scorer.

It's time we spoke to players in Scotland re pre contracts everybody else does it yet we seem to wait till end of season and start trolling the lower divisions in England

It would seem then that we're in the market for a striker.

If true its a pity someone has leaked it because all it does is alert clubs more able to offer him a better deal than us.

Totally agree with the above post but would not be surprised if leak came from within the club,so that if we are unsuccessful in signing attempt club could at least say we are trying to sign the right type of players.

Mmm ... do you really think our board are blessed with that level of forward thinking Tex? Whatever the root cause JWOK's post, the bloke certainly won't end up at FP. Why'd he want to play Championship fitbaw next season ?!

If we're after a striker, how did Goodwillie end up at Ross? Surely they don't pay more than us.

I don't know so much. They are back by the guy McGregor. He seems to pump a lot of cash into them.

Aye maybe if we hadn't given Faddy a wage again, we might have been in the frame for goodwillie.
