Funding of £5.5million raised by Bolton Wanderers' sale of car parking land at Macron Stadium has been secured against the Bolton Whites Hotel.
Prescot Business Park (PBP) Limited, whose registered office is based at Laurel House, Chorley New Road, agreed to co-fund retail development on land situated outside the North Stand on January 29, details of which were made public the following
Official documentation at Companies House reveals the financial advance provided by PBP Ltd has been secured against the stadium's adjoining hotel facilities, ensuring they will be legally entitled to seize the balance through the sale of assets in the event that Wanderers are placed into liquidation.
The agreement between all parties will remain in place until any such development has been granted planning permission and is open for business.
