    On this day - 2002

We beat Morton 6-5 on a terrible night weather wise but a brilliant one entertainment wise . Sean O'Connor tormented Queens and we signed him after the game so he couldnt do it to us again. I think we were 6-3 up at one point and Morton clawed it back to 6-5 . I remember praying that the ref would blow for full time as we were looking like conceding again at the death . Not a game that those there will forget in a hurry and one of my all time favourites .

Brilliant game to be at. Well worth the travel down from Ayrshire in atrocious weather conditions. All time favourite match just behind the League Championship win at Forfar a few months after that.
