    Help required

I have decided to have a holiday back in Cumbria, and have joined a Housitting Organisation.
Have been lucky enough to obtain the use of a family home in the Lake District for the month of May.
I would like to be able to use the Internet facility of this house but have no idea what I should offer the owners
Here in Australia I pay £25 for one month.
What is the equivalent in the Uk, bearing in mind we download very little and want the Internet connection mainly for Internet banking and paying bills back in OZ.

Depends what type it is. Are you CERTAIN that the property has internet, because the Lakes is a poor service area. Where will you be? I pay about the same for BT unlimited fibre. If it's a copper phone line job then half that (or less).

Pretty much as Griff says. £25 is about right/slightly generous for unlimited fibre.
You can usually get free wifi in cafes/pubs. Penrith has it's own town wifi and most the banks do too.
Maybe not suitable for banking though where you need a secure connection...

    Thanks for that.
