Perhaps one of you Northern lot who come on here will let me know how far Nottingham is from Derby. They can't be in close proximity to each other. That would be like Bradford being next to Edinburgh.
About 14 miles, and we're not northerners, but midlanders!
Okay I believe you, but you must realise that for we Southerners the North begins north of Watford. By the way what's Hotpot like. I always fancied some when I watched Coronation Street.

He has just stacked the tiles to spell that before he attaches them to the roof! His boss is a Rams fan and it was just instead of the usual stacks in lines, so full marks to his ingenuity, a bit of creativity on the job has to be admired, it will be gone tomorrow
Mind this boards a bit quiet at the mo, where have you all gone?
Good pic. Every roof in Derby should be made like that.
It would be interesting if the builder did the same to a new building roof in Arundel, that famous suburb of Nottingham.
Maybe Arundelred could let us know the answer to that Rammy? By the way does Arundelred support Sherwood Florest?
There are no new roofs in Arundel. That's what's so nice about the place. John Betjeman and The Green Prince would both be quite at home here along the banks of the Arun.Originally Posted by Oldtimeram
