    6th Place Now

In 6th place now with a gritty and determined win coupled with some enforced substitutions , a well deserved win by all accounts. Good days at Fir Park again congratulations to the manager ad the team tonight.

Great result when you consider what we had to put up with, some rank rotten refereeing/linesman decisions and opponents who just wanted to kick everything in claret and amber. They United deserve to be where they are in the league if that's how the deem the game should be played. All credit to our players for getting a result and keeping their heads.

United were very niggly but then you'd hope so if you were them in that position - but we were very lucky with the non-free kick for the goal and McDonald getting away with his elbow.

They were a bit worse than niggly - brutal might be a more appropriate description of their play at times. They could easily have picked up 3 red cards had the referee been stricter.
