    If we could defend a Game out....

    In the words Jim Bowen , here's what you could have had, if we could see a game out. Oh well .....

    We'd still have no chance of Europe and presumably those who aren't fussed by us qualifying aren't that bothered given the quality - or rather, lack of it - throughout our matches would have been the same regardless of the win/draw/loss outcome.

    It might cost us 100k or so in prize money but given how we've budgeted recently it would probably have cost us more in bonuses!

    Making the top six would be great but purely because it guarantees safety and should encourage McGhee to give even more time to youngsters to prepare for next term. This season was supposed to be transition, which we're now getting back to after the disastrous start, but whether we do that in 4th or 10th will have little impact long term imho.
