One thing I've learned the hard way in my 45 years on this planet is that when people hold strong political views on any subject it is impossible to change them, no matter how much you try.

One of the other things I've learned though is that in a free country people are entitled to those views, no matter how much I agree or disagree with them.

Ellis_D and millmoorlane believe me you can continue this 'debate' for time immemorial but neither of you will succeed in changing the others stance on this.

That's very true a123, there is a difference though, that having debate and disagreements is one thing, hurling personal abuse about is another, and kind of shows them up for what they are, ive done with these people. UTM
