Absolutely amazing...McGhee has one a sensational job.
The turn around in this team self belief and gritty determination that propelled us from a point behind Kille in February to 4th in the league and only 12,points behind Hearts beggars belief. Today an away win at the death in Inverness to add to an almost unbelievable turn around in fortunes. Congratulations to al at MFC and particularly to Mark McGhee his coaching staff and the players. Seems so long ago when clouds were grey and future seemed bleak. Now the teams never say die attitude that is becoming more prevalent is heartening. Today's the seems we got a few breaks but we worked for them really happy days for the Fir Park Faithful. The remit of Mark McGhee when he was hired was to avoid relegation, now as he says a different kind of pressure fans want a top six finish, well done indeed.

You just can argue that McGhee has turned a very very dodgy looking situation around. That was a wee bit of payback for all the last minute howlers we've had. All the players deserve tremendous credit.Originally Posted by Handsome_Devil
What a difference in feelings when u score last minute superb
We deserved that today. I don't care how the game went, but for all the last minute kicks in the teeth we've had, deserved or not, we were due that today. Well Done to Mark McGhee and the lads. What a turn around.
At this stage of the season it doesn't matter how we won but it was nice to score a late winner.

I think that's the best way to look at it. McGhee has turned around a bad, bad situation which had us shoe ins for the playoffs at least so him and the players do deserve a lot of credit for that.
He has not however, done a 'sensational job' and to claim that he has is in itself 'sensationalist'.
This league is extremely tight and anyone can beat anyone and even when we were in the midst of our dismal run through January and February, we were still very much in touch with the top six so it's not a monumental achievement to be sitting where we are just now.
While McGhee deserves credit for this good run, he w
to take a team from 2nd bottom - heading for the play offs into the top 6 without the ability to bring in his own players goes down as sensational in my book.
Do I love McGhee - no
Have we had some poor games - yes
Has he delivered over the course of his tenure -yes
Are we in a far superior position than any of us thought - yes
