    What does this say about Rowett's recruitment skills as a potential DCFC target?

    In all fairness, Shotton is a decent player, just not good enough for our current aspirations.

    I don't think Rowett has an abundance of choice. Shotton can play football but his concentration is in short supply and he is far too casual to be a good defender.
