Indeed all that's happening is that the club are losing money hand over fist as we drop further and further down the league.
We're also losing money with falling attendances this season Jardi . With only the one home league game remaining there's been approximately 13,500 less fans through the gates [/quote]

Falling attendances is common throughout Scotand - the game is dying on its feet - look at today's pathetic attendance for the Scottish Cup semi- final at Hampden !

Yes attendances are falling but poor football and strange team line ups every week from our team are speeding it up for Queens.

It's a strange old world, isn't it. Fat fan writes, "Where Mr Fowler is culpable is that most of this team are his signings and they have let him down big time. Brownlie, Jacobs, Thompson (sic) etc were all signed from the likes of Cowdenbeath and Livingston. These were teams that were relegated or facing relegation for a reason. Simply they weren't good enough! And Mr Fowler then signs players from them. This, along with showing misplaced faith in a number of players, has resulted in the side struggling. It's quite simple. The current squad are just not up to the job to play attacking football and are being found out".
Without the benefit of hindsight I expressed largely these views right at the start of the season and was pilloried and abused for daring so to do. Not for the first time I was invited never to darken the doors of Palmerston Park again, an invitation I failed to take up. Many of my abusers are now noticeable only by their absence and these views now appear to be accep

The main criticism of Cresswell I have is that he doesn't post enough . We could do with more of that quality input but anyway ? I am thinking that we should be concerned with trying to keep certain players . Definitely , Atkinson , he should be challenging for the number one spot . In my opinion, he is better OVERALL than Thomson. Kidd another one than inexplicably doesn't get a fair chance - compared to some - but always gives his all and is good in an attacking right sided position. As I said , Hilson must be signed again . The boy is a striker and how many of them can you see that can operate at our level and produce the goods . Can understand if this one doesn't tickle everyone's taste buds but I would try to hold onto Mark Millar.

Got to agree that, in the main, football is dying in Scotland - for two of our countries so - called
biggest clubs to only attract 19,651 to Hampden for yesterday's Scottish Cup semi - final is truly
pathetic - even poor wee Queens only 8 years ago played Aberdeen in front of 24,008 at
the same stage. Crowds at Palmy are stuck at around 1,500 - 1,600 but that is also
dropping fast as only 1,220 home fans were in attendance against Falkirk recently. The
days of Roy Henderson, Bobby Black, '' Basher '' Houliston are long long gone and will
    never come back IMO.

I must admit today's semi-final between Rangers and Celtic produced some of the finest football I have seen in ages in Scotland. The problem no one else in Scotland can live with them on this form !

Just to balance up all this doom and gloom . Queens were getting far lower crowds than they are now when I was going regular as a young boy.

I'm hoping the board will make a decision on a new manger sooner rather than later .
At the end of the day Fowler paid the price for early exits in our cup competitions and a lower than expected league position .
It shouldn't of come as a surprise to anyone

There's several players I'd like to see playing at Queens again next season but I'm worried a new manager coming in might not have time to see what they're like or want to start afresh with all his own players
