why would she be signing players without a manager in charge? How do we know that this deal wasn't done when Fowler was in the chair? The fact the news surfaced so soon after Fowler left would in my mind would point towards contact being made before his departure. Contract negotiations and planning a move half way round the world doesn't happen in a week.

Your confusing me now pal.....you said "Why not say apparently he's related to Victoria Thompson, signing players without a manager in charge' - so i asked you why 'she' would be signing players?

JR, - he was a cracking player in the under 20's last season with a real eye for goal.
His only problem was that he became home-sick and a very wet winter took it's toll on the boy.
If he comes now, (as suggested) and we get a decent summer with plenty of light, he could be established in the team by the time the darkness descends again.
Some people will dismiss this as utter nonsense, but a young lad from Australia is really going to suffer psychologically if its dark and wet every day, - which is exactly what happened when he came first time round.
From a footballing perspective, Lyndon Dykes is exactly what we need up front; a tall, athletic, very mobile player, - who can score goals and act as a foil for our other smaller forwards.
A brilliant acquisition by Queen of the South - regardless of whether they have decided who is going to manage the club!
Think there was more to it than home-sickness Jardi though that would've been one of the reasons, others have been mentioned on P&B.
Agree that he did look the part with the 20's last season, hopefully he'll be given a chance when he returns.
I can see where your coming from on that one Jardi. The constant wet weather is bound to have some kind of effect ie low mood on a boy not used to it . Now though , because he knows what to expect come the winter , we might have a player on our hands . Let's hope so !
1. Lend him Del's sunbed
2. Keep the floodlights switched on
3. Training sessions on the dunes at Sandyhills
Sorted.
