Final Results, Table and Chat (Week 36)

To the glee of leedsmiller, week 36 proves to be the best scoring week of the season and as a result he manages to surpass the 22pts needed to overtake LeedsMiller1989 and collect the title of MillersMad Prediction League Champion 2015-16. Congratulations!

The weekly win goes to villamiller with 38pts as Tenpast_Chelsea takes 2nd with Rotherman in 3rd. Another pair of donkey ears caps off an abject campaign by CAMiller.

Besides the league table positions, other notable awards for the season are:-

    PL FA Cup Winner: pip_y
Most Goal Scorer Points: leedsmiller 74pts
    Most Weekly Wins: LeedsMiller1989 5
Most Pairs of Donkey Ears: tuftydivot 5
    Best Weekly Score: curly9 46pts (Week 15)
Worst Weekly Score: CentreMid, Casper64Frank 0pts (Week 29)

A big thank you to Brin for selecting the fixtures every week and to those that played, particularly the ones who made it to the end. Maybe fittingly from someone wearing a large pair of ears, in the words of Bugs "That's All Folks!". I think with things I have going on at the moment and after 10 years at this it's time
to call it a day - maybe? I'll see how I feel come August.

    Week 36
Winner: villamiller 38pts 3x8 (Everton, Burton, Forfar), 4x2 (Results), 1 (Sharp), 5 (Weekly Win)
    2nd: Tenpast_Chelsea 32pts
    3rd: Rotherman 27pts
    Donkey: CAMiller 8pts
    Players: 13
    Average: 21pts
Goal scorers: Welbeck (Arsenal), Sharp (pen) (Sheff Utd), Cameron (2), Gunn (Elgin)
    Goal scoring flops: None
Hardest fixtures: Leeds v Charlton, Rotherham v Blackburn (both 0pts)
Easiest fixtures: Everton v Bournemouth, Burton v Gillingham (both 58pts)

    Phew! That was close!

Many thanks for this season and the years of noble service CAM, I hope, like NW, you can have one last season but if not very best wishes for the future. Thanks too to Brin for his season's selections, especially today's!

Thanks, Brin, not too long since I was last here - but this year's race had a very good pace maker

Looking forward to my hat-trick next year and getting to keep the trophy!

    Congratulations leedsmiller, well done.

Thanks to Cam, brin & any others that were directly involved.
First year I've entered the prediction league & really enjoyed it, still a lot to learn & my downfall was to keep changing my mind on some predictions.
Do hope there's another one next season.
    Thanks once again. C64F.

Maybe next season I don't go all out and set the pace..... More of a fence sitter then romp home at the last few games.....

At least this year I saw off curly9 .... Villa and CAM who often threatened to by pass me all season ......

As the organiser I don't want to be accused of a fix so I purposely make bad predictions. I have been doing it for years
