    'Hillsborough' documentary.

I've just watched the 30 for 30 ESPN documentary about the Hillsborough disaster, some of you may have already seen it but it's first British screening is on BBC Two this coming Sunday, I highly recommend you watch it, it's very confronting, emotional & informative, it opened my eyes on a couple of things, expect to be moved by it's content.

It's written & directed by Daniel Gordon, a Sheffield Wednesday fan, it's a must watch, maybe one or two might have a slight or even major shift to how you've viewed the disaster so far, so please, watch it & let your views be known.

Naaaa'....Just hoping we deservedly win the playoffs. ..We know the "Truth" now, anyway..Its ALL come out.......All the Liverpool fans at the back..1) Arrived on time. 2) None were drunk..3) All had tickets..4) Were queued like choir boys..with no pushing, or acts of aggression whatsoever towards the police. .4) The SYP are all murdering scum...5) Katch is a lovely, honest, straight forward bloke....Judging by the MASSIVE response to your open invitation Aussie..I think some are in agreement. ...God bless the 96 innocents....Oh..And for the record..I believe that The old Hillsborough dinosaurs. .( The ones that knew about the safety issues. Re: Leppings lane) if still alive...Should be burned at the stake......UTO

Wish I hadn't have opened this thread now. I'd say more but aussie would accuse me of 'point scoring'.

I'll catch the documentary on iplayer. It's a subject that upsets/angers me so much it's something I can only take in small doses.

If you've got something to say Katch just say it, you have history of points scoring but don't let that put you off saying what's on your mind, we can chastise you later if need be.

Nar, I don't want to lower myself to the level of post #3. I don't believe anyone with a shred of human decency would write that - and he's a mod, how ridiculous is that?

Will you be 'chastising', debating or critiquing that post? If not why not?

I only chastise point scoring, the rest is opinion, some of which I agree with & some I don't...to debate dmb's post I'd have to extrapolate & assume a fair bit from not a lot, I'll let him expand before I make a contribution...neither am I usually a critic of posting style or content per se, I just add my bit to the forum when I feel like it.

The post seems clear to me - either condemn or condone it ... don't play the non committal politician.

There isn't even debate to be had. We've had a Government commissioned report, the findings of an independent panel and now a legal inquest which has all drawn the same conclusion - the fans are completely exonerated. SYP and SWFC are the main parties responsible for those deaths.

These are facts, the false narratives in posts 2 and 3 are just shameful disrespectful drivel. How you unpack it and deal with it as individual is up to you - hopefully aussie you'll do it with more class than dmb can muster. So far I've read you tip toeing around the issue, instead of what you should be doing - which is hammering the conduct of SWFC. You as a supporter of SWFC should be more vociferous than most in your criticism.

You can't win Aussie...Its called 'Point scoring.' You're Wednesday..Thats all she cares/envies about....Absolutely shocked to my core, that she jumped on this thread.....I won't say much...Then adds another two pages. :-D Shocks and angers. :-D Someone nicked your stockings?.....You need to go back to something more palatable then..like condoning sick jibes involving P@edophilia...You know...Family stuff....Being a beacon of respectability and all that. :-D (DMB...You can't mention Heysel...It didn't happen....Who cares about a load of wops anyway..?)

Given the dreadful suppression of facts and it's awful consequences, it's absolutely essential for those fans who lost their lives and for relatives who endured the pain of 27 years of being denied the truth, to SEE appropriate action taken against those referred to in the Inquest findings.
Whatever SWFC have to face in due course, they have to face.....but with the truth now having been determined, justice needs to be seen to be done.
When Dejphon Chansiri bought SWFC, he will have taken account of the ongoing Inquiry and would have anticipated possible legal action if 'justice' demands that action be taken against SWFC.
The documentary can be seen on YouTube - view external link
