    Did I really hear that?

First of all congratulations to Liverpool in preventing a Spanish clean sweep of European finals.

I was however amazed at the BT commentator after the event who was discussing the final in Basel and its 34000 capacity. Liverpool get allocated 9000 seats. At this point, I kid you not, he said something like "of course there will be many more Liverpool fans there than tickets..."

When did Ratty get a job with BT sports?

It seems mud does stick but the timing is maybe inappropriate. I guess Liverpool fans will now boycott BT Sports? Its also wierd that Basel rhymes with Hysel....

Come on Roger, you're better than that.

Obviously more than 9000 fans will be in Basel. I'm sure the atmosphere in the city would be electric....I bet no England fans will travel to France over the summer unless they've got tickets for the 3 group games?

That's fine. So long as they're not trying to get in the grounds without a ticket.
