Training facilities could still leave us with another McGhee. Derek and Doc have made us good under the poor facilities we have now. Do you think their management skill will improve because they are comfy and in one place all the time
Aberdeen as a place is miles away from civilization and as Mason says facilities or not, cash and the arsedness of living there are huge factors and way more important than facilities
Most sensible fans * , should now realise that this present board, - who had not the foresight to predict the current problems with transport ( despite being informed by multitudes), should be looked on as totally incompetent to manage a 50 million debt.
the fact that Milne couldn't manage a 10 million debt , should have been evidence enough.
The longer the delay in not communicating with the fans ( which is something afc are good at tbf) will only make situation worse.
* Think I can get a way with the 'most fans' assumption here.
I don't think their skills will necessarily improve, but having a facility will give them more option.
No more, sorry lads, get off the pitch, some students have booked it.
DM said before they wanted to continue i.e. Training to fine tune some tactics, but couldn't.
Having facilities might also prolong keeping players, manage, net, youth etc, rather than the attraction elsewhere.
I see it now, a young goalkeeper, training with Aberdeen and Rangers.
Both are keen to take him on.
Aberdeen are are much better fit location wise, but the father goes on about how impressive their training facilities are.
A future potential player lost because of our ****e facilities.
Never mind, you lot think we're fine as we are.
