Tynecastle is a total dump. The steep stands and proximity to the pitch make for a great atmosphere. Otherwise it's a sh*t hole. Granted, a state of the art facility isn't much consolation if the atmosphere is crap.

Wasn’t actually drawing attention to the greatness of Hearts facility, more that if the club make a facility we love at 3m
    over budget, I’d be content.

I predict it will be rejected , possibly on the grounds of lack of properly thought out transport strategy.

    Which I would agree with.

But then I would reject it on shoddiness of design alone.

The transport strategy for the new AECC at Dyce was approved so a precedent has already been set for Kingsford to get the go-ahead.

That would have been a better site for a new stadium. Well it would be for me.

How much will the new AECC hold though? Unlikely it is as much as 20,000.

On very good authority, I’ve been told that it’s going to be approved.

One season ticket, on a trial basis due to the utter ****wittery of the transport ‘solution’. After that, if it’s a crap experience, I will select games I can attend reasonably, and will pay at the gate. Ah, I see a snag in that.
