Nothing brings the fans closer than moving to a new shite box arena we probably can't afford which is all being pushed by a chairman that wants a strong rangers.
*sniff*
It will be a disaster for the future of the club if the stadium actually gets built in this utterly **** location.
This can't be right, I seem to remember some of the experts on here saying it would never get planning permission.
They can start building a stadium yet, because:
1. Aberdeenshire Council maintain an objection because of the unsuitability of the proposed road crossing west of six mile fork.
2. Aberdeenshire Council maintain an objection because nobody knows who will enforce the Westhill CPZ (which is a planning condition).
and
3. They have no funds to pay for it.
I think you meant to type "can't"
There definitely needs to be a lot of work done in terms of widening footpaths, I can't remember seeing much details on them on the plans on the Council's website. Having the footbridge west of the 6 mile fork would make sense if we're going to be able to use the car parks at Arnhall.
Like everyone else I've got concerns over funding it, we'll see how deep Cormack and Crotty's pockets are. I don't think anyone predicted WM Donald wiping out our debts a few years ago, It's going to be an interesting next couple of years whatever happens.
