Did i miss when Milne cleared the Clubs debt?

I had exactly the same thought so no you didn’t miss anything as it was William Donald who invested £3.5M with this money going to the Bank of Scotland who took this as final payment in respect of around £10M of bank debt. All that Milne did was convert £4M of money that Stewart Milne Group had put in over the years from debt to shares.

That sounds like a total load of bollox.

I disagree as the only way the stadium gets built is if Cormack/Crotty put in a bunch of their own money to effectively take control of AFC as no way Milne will stump up the sort of money required. So I would imagine he will be open to making another investment, whether it happens, I guess we will need to wait and see.

No, you just misread my post.
I was saying he could have, not that he did.
The point is that the club needs to be run within its own means and not subsidised for short term gain like Romanov’s Hearts or Murray’s DeidCo

Well in the grand scheme of things myself or Milne had no chance of clearing the debt. It was left to other financial compromises from interested parties.
