One point of interest (well I think it is interesting anyway) is that this fancy new AECC which is being built is supposed to have an indoor events type arena which seats 12,500.

Wasn't the idea that the new Pittodrie was going to be used for concerts events and the like to raise extra revenue? That was the idea anyway. I can't see that working where there will be a huge indoor arena nearby and which may be better connected to public transport.
