    SHOW US THE MONEY.

Don't understand those getting all worked up about the money. Stewarty and Gilbert have more money than God. The money is not the blocker - it's the f@@kin' eejit NIMBYs and Martin Ford style gobshytes that are the problem.

Yes, the supporters' bar has moved from NW to NE and there's been some tinkering with locations of other rooms and spaces and the corners have some more rows of seats.

Otherwise, the basic design and footprint remains the same as Loirston.

In fact the stated capacity has decreased from "21,000" to "up to 20,000".

    Money is an issue.

Otherwise the board wouldn't keep saying it is.

You will tend to find that those with lots of money have a habit of not wanting to spend it... businessmen like to use other people's money rather than their own!

The fact that there's planning issues, money issues, artist impression issues, shows that it's amateur hour in Aberdeen

Meanwhile, just about every other club in Scotland has relocated or redeveloped.

This new Stadium and Complex is Stewarty and Gilbert's legacy. Don't worry about the money - they have it covered.

Comparing the loirston roof structure, to our new cheapo option.

looks like we'll be the first stadium to have it's roof blown off in a high wind.

Shouldn't that be the Willie & Elaine Donald legacy

Mason you are absolutely right-none more so exemplified by the fact Milne dropped Stadium Architects who actually know what they're doing, so his "pals" at a local practice in the town could have a shotty as he thinks they could do it cheaper-jobs for the boys basically.

You get what you pay for and it looks like proper village mentality amateur-hour based on what we can see so far. It's a lame rehash of Lorston with some bells and whistles stuck on the side.

Leaving that aside there is still no explanation on the funding strategy-! Aghast at that.

Anyway, I'm generally not a negative poster but I feel it's a good thing to push the board on these details instead of just sitting there and taking everything as read - I sincerely hope they get it right in the end and we don't end up with a tinpot set up that's not befitting of a club of Aberdeen's stature.

    Stadium funding.

£20 million -approx sale of pittodrie
    £10 million naming rights /debentures
£10 million Private investors /share issue
    £6 Million mortgage

The hardest part wil be to get 6 to 8 million to get first stage training complex
Done, we might get share issue at this stage.

Approximate costs , this is happening , if as been mentioned its design has similarities to Ghent ground
    WOW..
Check out on you tube atmosphere at Ghent champions league game..! 20k capacity as well .

    Coyr
