Abody is gan on aboot redeveloping Pittodrie but is the council not against any change in the main stand or the residents in Pittodrie street nae up in arms against that plan and I'm thinkin this was quite a few years ago??

Mibbes aye. Dunno. But can`t see how building up a few feet and sticking it erse oot over the road that would only shadow the training pitch and/car park could cause any problems ?

There was some issues with building the Merkland road end up though , due to residents of Flats built where there used to be joiners yard ?

If we had the room, we could spin the pitch around and just build a wall at old South stand end , extend the D.D. and there be loads of room to move the Merkland stand inwards. You`d just knock most of the old main stand down then , leaving the offices and changing rooms. Move al the Corporate into shiney new Merkland !!!

That was £20 mill ?? Financing ? Not sure.

They have a decent area around/behind the current one to build on though .Their own ground , with no householders to object . And no traffic issues either .
