Doesn't matter to me where it's built and it's embarrassing that the city isn't getting a chubby about having a new stadium. The issue for me is where the money comes from and what the stadium looks like.

Apparently those are the two least important aspects of stadium construction

    Should be for you
You hardly go to the stadium and thus contribute proportionally less.

Seriously though, Funding is a concern, but its not insurmountable

I don't know the details, but at worst case, I understand we are looking for £30M of funding (after selling Pittodrie).
Our annual accounts are very healthy, posting a profit and with a turnover of approx £13.5M, its very conceivable we could get a mortgage for the new stadium.

Remember, we'd be offsetting the maintenance costs as well as the training rental towards any mortgage costs.
Depending on how long we amortize for and any other funding options received, the impact of funding the new stadium could be mitigated against our current expenditure at Pittodrie

That's not worst case, that's best case scenario.

I'm convinced the maintenance costs are horse sh!t but how do you think they compare against the running costs of a state of the art training facility & stadium?

Worst case scenario would be asking fans to fund it, having a crippling debt.

We hope there are other funding options. You are guessing again though.

I suspect £20m intake for the Pittodrie site is a bit fanciful, given that the asking price when it was put on the market last time was around 50% of that number, and the property market's tits are still in the 'up' position. No takers matching the asking price then, so what chance now?
