One of my grandkids is autistic and lasted about two minutes at his first game. Noise was too much for him to cope with, yes at Pittodrie. I've asked him a few times since if he's like to try again, he's now about four years older but he doesn't want to go back.
It's a shame but we do other things that don't stress him out instead. I wouldn't expect a special quiet zone set up in the ground just so he could go. Far too much catering to minorites at the expense of the many these days.
Except it suggests you believe that any policy/initiative/development designed to be inclusive, necessarily excludes others ... eg. you.
Come on min ... you work at an opticians ... does the fact you supply goods and services which correct visual defects result in everybody wi perfect vision bein forced tae wear specs?
Has the introduction o' wheelchair ramps led tae the abolition o' stairs?
Has the introduction o' 'quiet carriages' on trains led tae passengers in the other carriages bein expected tae shut the fυck up?
Has the introduction o' civil partnerships led tae a necessity for hetero***ual couples tae get divorced and find same *** partners?
Ah get riled at nanny-state ****e as much as the next guy ... but, yer haverin min.
You're coming at all those examples from the wrong way min.
Either way we live in a world where everyone has to have some sort of illness.
The latest trend is for autism, it's very fashionable at the moment.
It makes you wonder which drug company is making money off of it.
The main problem with this pretence is that there are people who really have autism, just as there are people who are really diabetic, which is the other main craze of recent times.
ADHD is yet another totally fabricated condition, allowing teachers to drug our school age children.
I would also prefer to totally dismiss allergies, but it's clear they exist.
They didn't use to exist (not anywhere near today's level) but they do now.
I do wonder why we concentrate on cures as opposed to finding out and stopping the causes.
None of this picks on anyone or anything in particular but look at the figures.
In my class at primary school, in a class of about 30, you would have found one fat kid (not now fat but then fat) and one wee ginger haired loon with asthma.
See us at the swimming and you could have played the xylophone on our ribs.
We were still healthier than today's lot though, despite measles, german measles, mumps, whooping cough etc. etc.

Anyway
F'uck Westhill, stay at Pittodrie.
I blame the Tories, video games and *****files for fat kids.
Another updated pic
I’ll pre-empt the Holy ****, GOALS.
First pitch to be named after Teddy
Space age netting that. Well worth the twelve million being spaffed on the training complex.
To be fair I was on duty out that way yesterday and it's looking bloody impressive. I've no problem at all with having the training ground out there but the stadium should stay in the city twixt the mouths of the Dee and the Don.
