    Pre-season friendly matches.

    Friday 15 July v Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road. 7.30 pm kick-off.

    Monday !8 July v Cork City in Ireland at pre-season training camp. Subject to FAI approval.

    Saturday 23 July v Port Vale at Vale Park. 3.00pm kick-off.

    30 July weekend.- Sir Jack Hayward statue match - details to be advised. - view external link

    Some real tests there then! I know it is to build match fitness, but I hope we have some sterner tests in the pipeline to prepare for next season.

    I wonder if there will be more to be added?

    2013-14 - 6 First team pre-season matches.starting on 10 July.
    2014-15 - 7 - 11 July.
    2015-16 - 6 - 8 July on French tour.

    The first one, of four, this season is on 15 July.

    Well, one more added. Supposedly the last. List now reads:

    Saturday 23 July v Port Vale at Vale Park. 3:00 pm kick-off.

    Tuesday 26 July v Northampton Town at Sixfields. 7:30pm kick-off.

    30 July weekend.- Sir Jack Hayward statue match v Swansea City at Molineux. 3:00pm kick-off.

    Sorry if you feel we are in competition 71, but your thread seemed to be concentrated on the SJH match, then you decided to branch out all over the place!
