Aye, skip it and do Wester Ross instead (Applecross -> Torridon -> Gairloch/Poolewe/Aultbea -> Ullapool etc).

Getting a wee bit quieter this time of year too. Skye is full of tw@ts doing the Fairy Pools and faff all else. Possibly skip Applecross from that list too, it's also full of tw@ts ticking off the bealach na ba.

How on earth did this thing fly? 137 feet long... 30 feet high. It's at the Riga Aviation Museum just next to the airport. Although aircraft scrapyard is probably a more accurate description than a museum.
