    Who would keep Wassall

Because most of thes linked with the Rams top job don't really inspire me, my thoughts are turning towards wanting Wassall to keep the job.
He knows the players already, knows where we need to improve, and the performance away at Hull proves he can get a performance out of them. Of course there was the 1st leg performance, but I think they were 2 extremes, which neither are that likely to be repeated next season. I know he's still on a learning curve, but he managed to stabilise us in the play offs and who's to say he won't up his own game next season, and under him we are capable of playing attractive football. I'm just not excited by the alternatives that seem to be on offer, and I'd hate to become a team that grinds out boring 1 0 wins each week, or worse still a hoof ball team. I feel we are close to a successful season, we only need a few tweaks here and there. Wassall has been in charge for 5 months, maybe a bit of continuity is what we need now.

No not for me. It would indicate a total lack of ambition.

"I feel we are close to a successful season, we only need a few tweaks here and there"

Words spoken by so many, so often over the past 3 or 4 seasons....

I understand what your saying vdlh, but had more than tweaks last summer and that didn't work either. It's more of a "better the devil you know than the devil you don't" thought.

I'd rather have Wassall than the bookies top 5 replacements!

Its a no from me to, let him go back to the Academy!

As for the bookies list not inspiring people, well lets face it, they are the obvious suspects, though some clearly don't have a cat in hells chance of being appointed, so may be it will be surprise appointment that will leave us all gasping in wonder, or more likely scratching our heads in puzzlement.
